Tool snaps around cooler line and, when pushed into the fitting, releases the fitting. The cooler line can then be removed. 3/8 disconnect is used on 2003-newer Ford Explorers with the 5R55W transmission. (Similar to Ford No. 307-441.) 1/2 disconnect is used on 2003-newer Ford Super Duty Trucks with the 4R100 transmission. (Similar to Ford No. 307-459.)
