This item is a brand new, uncut transponder key that is compatible with 2004-2006 Acura TL and 2004-2008 Acura TSX models. A transponder key blade adds an extra level of security over a traditional car key. It has a small transponder chip embedded in the key. Once it's inserted into the ignition, a unique signal goes to the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) to activate the engine. This helps deter fraudulent key tampering and theft.
