The full range of 3/8 drive impact sockets have become very popular recently in the automotive service industry. Interestingly enough, however, mechanics continue to buy mostly 1/2 drive impact wrenches because they prefer the power and performance over the 3/8 counterpart. These two incongruent trends tell those of us who manufacture and sell automotive tools and equipment that there is a significant opportunity to sell 1/2 F x 3/8M impact adapters now and in the future.
