Snap around cooler line, push into the fitting, fitting releases, the cooler line can then be removed. 3/8 disconnect is used on 2003-newer Ford Explorers with 5R55W transmission. 1/2 disconnect is used on 2003 - newer Ford Super Duty trucks with the 4R100 transmission
